Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission is located in West Central Missouri. The West Central region consists of 13 counties, 7 of which make up the Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission: Bates, Benton, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, St Clair, and Vernon. Although it's a very rural region, the KBRPC region is home to three major lakes-Truman, Stockton, and Pomme de Terre, and has several major highways, and an Interstate that runs through it. The top industries in the West Central Region are retail trade, farming, construction, food services and federal/military.
